Open every day from 10am until 4pm, our contemporary country café provides the perfect place to meet and catch up with friends over a quality cup of coffee, a good glass of wine or a glass of local craft ale. A welcome drink can be complemented by one of our range of fresh pasties, or cakes baked that morning in our own bakery.
Outdoor dining areas are also available where you can soak up the atmosphere of village life, surrounded by trees and stone buildings, in the beautiful Bowland village of Scorton.
For the coffee connoisseur, we have a variety of choices of coffee, served from our vintage coffee van or cafe. From Ristrettos and Espressos to Lattes and Cappuccinos, relax, unwind, and enjoy your favourite coffee. All our coffee is responsibly and sustainably sourced.
Our professional, friendly, and attentive staff will ensure your needs are catered for and you enjoy your time with us. We offer delicious home-made dishes using only fresh ingredients supplied by local farmers and producers.
At The Priory, we are proud of our long history of selecting local produce. Our Farm Assured meats are sourced from Bowland Fells, Pilling Marsh, and the Fylde plains where the animals are carefully reared then handpicked by our butcher to ensure only the highest quality and tasty meats end up on our customer's plates.
We only use local dairy products such as award winning Dewlay cheeses as well as other local cheese from the heart of Lancashire's prime cheese making area. These top-quality products give a distinctive flavour, renowned across the land, which we are proud to serve to our customers. As well as our meats and dairy produce, we source all our vegetables from local suppliers meaning customers can enjoy tasty Pilling March potatoes, beautiful Fylde Coast tomatoes, Ribble Valley leeks, and carrots, swedes, lettuce and other vegetables from Southport.
A visit to The Priory cafe is a must if you are staying with us or visiting the local area. Our hearty British cuisine together with the charming, cosy log fires and countryside surroundings will make you not want to leave.
As well as being a great resting place for walkers and cyclists wishing to refresh themselves whilst exploring the area, the cafe appeals to couples and families wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax in a countryside setting. You would never know it when you see the village and surrounding areas, but we are within half an hour of Lytham, St Anne’s, Blackpool, Poulton-le-Fylde, Cleveleys, Fleetwood, Clitheroe, Preston and Lancaster. We are ideally situated for students from Lancaster University and UCLAN Preston to have a break from their studies and get some fresh air.
